About Us

The Aviary Tattoo Shop was established in 2023 by artist and owner Gretchen Diehl. Having started her career as a fine artist, Gretchen was always looking for ways to make her art accessible to everyone. Her personal approach to the art and craft of tattooing has gained her a loyal following. Each piece is unique and tells a personal story.

In addition to being the primary artist and owner of Aviary Tattoo Shop, Gretchen is also mentoring three apprentices. Mark, Maddie, and Kendall are excited for the opportunity to continue their tattooing careers, and to help bring future clients’ ideas to life.
